San Shou/Sanda vs Kung Fu/Wushu?

Now, from what I understand, have seen, have studied, and heard, San Shou/Sanda was taken from Chinese martial arts, including Chinese wrestling, which is just throws and takedowns, and is not exactly kung fu.
